Frequently Asked Questions
This page contains answers to our most frequently asked questions. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us. We typically respond the same day.
Do you take on new implementations or just support services?
We made a strategic decision to focus on support services for businesses rather than solely pursuing new implementations. In our experience, many organizations invest in Adaptive Planning but struggle to fully realize its potential due to limited post-implementation support. This is especially true where internal resources are often stretched thin.
We saw a clear opportunity to make a bigger impact by helping these teams stabilize, optimize, and get real value from their existing systems. In fact, a large part of our work involves stepping in to re-implement or recover Adaptive environments that were left incomplete or are underperforming. By focusing on support, we’re not just fixing problems, we’re building lasting partnerships and enabling long-term success.
How much experience does Wrexly have?
At Wrexly, we exclusively hire U.S. based Workday-certified consultants with proven experience in multiple successful implementations. Since Workday is constantly evolving, we stay ahead by continuously learning and translating new or updated features to deliver the best possible solutions to our clients.
Are you fully insured as a business?
Wrexly is fully insured with General Liability, Professional Liability and Workers Compensation.
Are you certified through Workday?
All our consultants hold multiple Workday certifications, including Adaptive Planning, Integrations, and often Workday Financials and Workday HCM, to provide comprehensive support for Adaptive Planning.
Do you really not work with clients who have over 5,000 employees?
Absolutely not. Wrexly works with organizations of all sizes.
Our focus has never been about headcount—it’s about impact, complexity, and the level of expertise required to deliver results. Too often, organizations—regardless of size—are supported by teams that lack deep Adaptive Planning experience or rely on rigid, offshore-heavy delivery models that limit value.
At Wrexly, we take a different approach. We provide hands-on, enterprise-grade Workday Adaptive Planning expertise through a flexible engagement model designed to meet organizations where they are and scale as needs evolve.
If I go with a plan and I have hours left at the end of the month, can I roll them to the next month?
We allow hours to be rolled over on an as-needed basis from time to time. We understand that clients may take vacations or have periods where other priorities take precedence. However, we typically approve rollovers for no more than one month at a time to ensure we can accurately plan resource allocation and continue delivering timely, high-quality service when it's needed most.
How can you offer such great rates while offering Enterprise level experience?
We’re able to offer competitive rates by keeping our overhead low, relying on word-of-mouth referrals, and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. By streamlining our operations without the need for dedicated sales or other cost heavy departments, we focus our resources where they matter most: delivering exceptional service.
How will my requests be managed?
When you submit a request in Basecamp, it’s tracked and scheduled according to our free standard SLA. While we typically recommend a weekly check-in call to stay aligned, ad hoc requests are always treated with priority and care. All tasks are managed through Basecamp, where we assign hours, track progress, and collect feedback and approvals to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
What if I have an emergency and need immediate assistance?
Our emergency SLAs are here for you when unexpected issues arise whether it’s a broken formula or a failed integration at a critical moment. We provide same-day responses and, when necessary, work through weekends to get you back on track quickly and minimize disruption.
Is there anything that is not covered in your services or costs extra?
Occasionally, we receive requests that involve complex work such as advanced API integrations, sophisticated allocation models, or intricate eliminations logic. While we don’t charge a higher hourly rate for these tasks, we do review the requirements to assess the level of effort involved. If completing the work exceeds your monthly hourly allotment, any additional hours will be billed at your plan’s standard hourly rate.
I have had trouble in the past getting consulting companies to reply to my emails in the past? How do you solve this?
From your initial “Let’s Connect” submission to ongoing ad hoc communications, every interaction is meticulously tracked. We pride ourselves on delivering communication with care, clarity, and attention to detail.
What happens if I have a problem or I am not happy with Wrexly?
We work hard to ensure satisfaction is met. Adaptive does have limitations in certain situations, but we will guide you based on best practices and valid alternatives.
